In this article, in http://sproc.org/ojs/index.php/gjcs/article/view/179/pdf, the authors analyze from a quantitative perspective the use of smartphones and social media for booking hotels in the enterprise segment. They conclude that the smartphone is the device most used for that purpose, followed by laptop and tablet. The most frequented social media are Booking, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Foursquare.
