Scientific communication of Dr. Fondevila et altri on using WhatsApp in the University
“WhatsApp use in the University: empirical analysis” is the scientific communication by Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón, Dr. Pedro Mir, Dr. Gaspar Berbel, Dr. Sergi Cortinas, Dr. Gaspar Berbel, Dr. Eva Santana, Dr. Josep Rom, Dr. Enric Ordeix, Dr. Jordi Botey, Marta Carreras, Dr. Oscar Gutierrez, Dr. Elena Puiggròs and Lluís Feliu in the “CIDUI 2016: impacts in the innovation in teaching and learning” congress, carried out in Bellaterra (UAB) from 5 to 7 July 2016.
In this communication the quantitative results of the use of instant messaging service Whatsapp University are proposed, and ideas to implement synchronously in the classroom are released.
The study corresponds to the research task of the Research Group on Digital Journalism and Marketing and Broadband and Research Group on Innovative Monetization Systems of Digital Journalism, Marketing and Tourism (SIMPED) of CECABLE, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, the Mediterrani University School of the University of Girona, Blanquerna-Universitat Ramon Llull and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, of which is principal investigator Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón.
