Chapter book of Dr. Fondevila Gascón about digital journalism
“Análisis comparativo de factores cualitativos en el periodismo digital” (pp 74-87. ISBN: 978-84-87175-52-7) is the chapter of scientific book by Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón in the book Innovación y cambio en la comunicación postindustrial, coordinated by Fernando Sabés Turmo and José Juan Verón Lassa and edited in Huesca by the Press Association of Aragon. The book was presented at the XVI Congress of Digital Journalism-2015.
In the chapter we observe the results of an empirical study on the comparison between www.elmundo.es and www.ara.cat, reference journals in Spain and Catalonia. Greater use of the resources of digital journalism in El Mundo that Ara (although it’s predominantly external and contextual hypertext is qualitatively better) and the need to improve the qualitative depth in the performance of those applications is observed.
The publication is included in the Research Group on Digital Journalism and Broadband and the Research Group on Innovative Monetization Systems of Digital Journalism and Marketing (SIMPED) of CECABLE, the Escola Universitària Mediterrani of the University of Girona (UdG ), the Observatory of Scientific Communication from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). The principal investigator is Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón.
