In the chapter, the use of social networks as an axis of promotion of urban tourist attractions is studied empirically (quantitatively and qualitatively). The analysis focuses on the sport of skateboarding, with a representative sample in Barcelona from the social network Instagram. There is an opinion creation favorable to the tourist destination thanks to the photographs that appear in the text.
