Dr. Fondevila, new Dean of the UAO CEU Faculty of Social Sciences
Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón, CECABLE Director, is the new Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU (UAO CEU) from this course 2013-14. Dr. Fondevila will combine that position with the new also as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Professors and Faculty and the Director of the Department of Communication Sciences, which holds since the year 2012-13.
To Fondevila, this position “is an exciting challenge. I will try to optimize the pace of research and excellence and internationalization of our Faculty.” The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences comprises the Departments of Communication Sciences, Economics and Business, Law and Political Sciences, Humanities and Education Sciences, and Psychology.
Adding Degrees, Double Degrees and Programs, the UAO CEU has a range of 25 options. The Faculty also offers 10 Masters (seven of them, University Masters), 12 Post Degrees and Specialization Programs and two Doctorates. Created in 2003, the UAO CEU is continuously growing and has more than 1,500 students enrolled.
