Dr. Fondevila’s scientific article on the use of metrics and algorithms on the impact of the media in social media

In the article an adaptation of metrics and algorithms of media impact in social media is created, and diverse proposals are compared. It is concluded that the metrics are fundamental to objectively analyze the impact of mass media on social media.
The article corresponds to the research task of the Research Group on Digital Journalism and Marketing and Broadband and the Research Group on Innovative Monetization Systems of Journalism, Marketing and Digital Tourism (SIMPED), CECABLE, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Escola Universitària Mediterrani of the University of Girona, Blanquerna-Universitat Ramon Llull and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, of which Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón is the principal investigator.
