Scientific Communication of Dr. Fondevila et altri in a technological congress in Bulgaria
“Methods and technologies to discover the purchase decision of business tourism” is the scientific communication of Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón, Dr. Gaspar Berbel, Monica Muñoz, Dr. Pedro Mir, Dr. Elena Puiggròs, Dr. Oscar Gutierrez, Dr. Javier L. Crespo and Lluís Feliu in the 18th International Conference “Materials, methods and technology”, held from 26 to 30 June 2016 in Hotel “Royal Castle”, Elenite Holiday Village, Bulgaria (EU) with the organization, among others, of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and ITMO University.
In the research, using descriptive and relational statistics, it is observed the advantages of technology linked to social media are beyond simple positioning. Taking in consideration the most used device by business tourism is smartphone, the second is laptop and the third, tablet, the enterprise has to take decisions to improve its communication and marketing strategies in the relationship with the consumer. Furthermore, the most used tools for contacting the accommodation are phone and email.
The study is a research work of the Research Group on Broadband and Digital Journalism and Marketing and the Research Group on Innovative Monetization Systems of Digital Journalism, Marketing and Tourism, by the CECABLE, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Mediterrani University School (University of Girona), Blanquerna-Universitat Ramon Llull and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. The principal investigator of both groups is Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón.
